Atlanta-based rapper UnotheActivist was born in 1996 and began rapping by the time he was in high school. Early musical projects included a group called TFZ, which included his cousin Playboi Carti. After a short-lived stint at college, Uno dedicated himself completely to music, dropping his first mixtape, No More Thotties, in 2015 and gaining traction with his song "Parkin' Lot Pimping." The next year he followed up with the Gift of Gab mixtape and also drew attention with his guest spot on Playboi Carti's single "What." Constant shows and studio collaborations followed, including tracks with peers like Thouxanbanfauni, Warhol.ss, Trippie Redd, and Maxo Kream. In 2017 he released his much-anticipated Live.Shyne.Die mixtape, which featured production from Wheezy Beats and Cassiusjay as well as features from Famous Dex, YSL Duke, and many others.
