“Women in today’s society receive backlash for working within the sex work industry and that needs to change, says Sprove.”

Within the past couple of years, social media websites have restricted nudity. For example, the exposure of areolas underneath a shirt will get deleted as a post on Instagram. However, a man wearing a swimming trunks at the pool without a shirt on does not receive any violations.

“Furthermore, these same double standards are held within the music industry. Regardless of your clothing choice, women should have the same rights that men do when it comes to censorship violations, states Sprove.”
