Upcoming Philly artist 4quadoe describes daily obstacles that he faces as many in the event industry are contemplating when is the right time to perform during these unprecedented times.

“For many artists, their income comes from appearances and performances. As the Delta variant continues to spread, music festivals are coming to halt, states 4quadoe.

According to the CDC, “New data began to emerge that the Delta variant was more infectious and was leading to increased transmissibility when compared to other variants, even in vaccinated individuals. Delta is currently the predominant strain of the virus in the United States."

Furthermore, these new developments will lead to artists possibly experimenting with online shows full-time.

“As an independent artist, there definitely need to be more resources to help us thrive during these difficult times. I can only imagine how difficult it may be to charge for an online show at full price”, explains 4quadoe.
