When I spoke to London Boy about Slide he explained that he got the beat from frequent collaborator Cali Mora on Monday, he made the song on that very same Monday. Mind you he said it as nonchalantly as it sounded when you first read when he recorded it. 

Lamenting that he’s not working on any project just recording songs at this point. We spoke of the muscle memory that his utilizing when doing music these days. It sounds like he’s ready but you guys let us know what you think.
