Based out of Toronto the young lyrist has sunk his teeth into the sphere of TikTok and has found astounding success. His humor and raw conversational content have made him a hit on Gen Zs favorite social platform. With a start on TikTok during quarantine and his first video for the #SplashChallenge garnering over 800K views he knew he was on to something. 

Akin put his foot on the gas keeping followers plugged in with consistent content—each upload doing numbers. Some of his most popular videos include his remix to the “Holy Spirit Activate” meme, his videos on being broke (viewed over 29M times) addressing racismthe state of COVID-19, and for simply talking against bullying, the latter of which spawned over 109K creations.

Speaking on how Toronto inspires him as an artist, his mental health, and being on the second annual Black TikTok Trailblazers List. On top of being a social media sensation with over 2.5 million followers across all platforms, Akin is leveraging that success into his music. Reaching over 128k monthly listeners and 5 million streams on Spotify. During our conversation Akintoye opened about haters, the inspiration behind his newest release,
